MANTRAS FOR THE DAY FROM WINNIE THE POOH

by Riche Atos / May 17, 2022

One of the mantras for the day: “There is so much to be found when you’re looking in places that you’ve never thought of.”

In this episode, we dive into 20 of our favourite quotes from the book Winnie the Pooh and turn them into daily life mantras for entrepreneurs!

While most entrepreneurs’ eyes are fixated on their wristwatches, have you ever wondered if there was something more to life?

Life is not just about business. You can’t enjoy all the fruits of your labour unless you take time off occasionally to smell the roses. It’s important to take a step back and enjoy life from time to time.

I am once again joined by Warsha Joshi and Evan LeClus from the Dare to Scale Show, as we collaborate and add our own spin to each quote and extract the brilliance and life lesson there is to gain from them.

Quotes:

“Self-doubt is the one thing that creeps in on us without even realising. And many times, something else that we don’t realize is how many times we are afraid of our own success. So to me when you said it all comes of not having front doors big enough is the underlying fear of success. So keep those doors big enough, open wide enough. Because when you are fearless about success, the world really is your oyster.” – Warsha Joshi

“Sometimes there’s too many doers and too few thinkers.” – Evan LeClus

“There is nothing that happens as a coincidence. There’s no such thing. Everything happens for a reason. And the reason we might not know and everybody that we come across, we come across for a bigger reason. Because you never know why that particular person has come within your world and your circle, because there is a bigger reason. And that reason might be the one that breaks the pattern and takes you to a level higher because that’s the friend that you’ve been waiting for.” – Warsha Joshi

“Relationships take time. I think relationships of value, need effort, they need time to be put in and so that you become friends forever.” – Dhiren Bhatia

“Always be prepared to question what you’re doing to see if there’s a better way. “Evan LeClus

“If you need help, ask for help, no one’s going to come and give you help. If you don’t ask for help, if you don’t put your hand out, whether it’s friendship, business, even with your wife, or your husband, ask for it, there’s no shame in asking for help.” – Dhiren Bhatia

“We get so caught up in our own lives. Having a little space for somebody else’s perspective, having space for somebody else’s worldview, I think is really, really important.” – Dhiren Bhatia

“If that becomes your mantra that today is my favorite day. Everything that happens in the day that you make happen for yourself and people around you has the potential to make it your favorite day, every single day when the sunrises is your favorite day. – Warsha Joshi

“Make a splash.” – Evan LeClus
